Investment will Finance Product Innovation and Market Expansion
TORONTO, October 28, 2004 – Panorama Software, a leader in business intelligence (BI)
solutions for the Microsoft platform, today announced that it has raised an undisclosed sum of
funding from JMI Equity, Intel Capital and Platinum Neurone Ventures (PNV). The company
will use the investments to continue augmenting product development plans and capitalize on
increased demand in the BI sector.

Panorama will use the investment to expand its global footprint, accelerate new product

and enterprise reporting space. As a result of the financing, Brad Woloson, a general partner at
JMI Equity, will join Panorama’s board of directors.
