PANORAMA SOFTWARE CLOSES STRATEGIC INVESTMENT ROUND

Investment will Finance Product Innovation and Market Expansion

TORONTO, October 28, 2004 – Panorama Software, a leader in business intelligence (BI)

solutions for the Microsoft platform, today announced that it has raised an undisclosed sum of

funding from JMI Equity, Intel Capital and Platinum Neurone Ventures (PNV). The company

will use the investments to continue augmenting product development plans and capitalize on

increased demand in the BI sector.

“Panorama’s rapid expansion continues as marked by our stellar results,” said Rony

Ross, Executive Chairman and Founder, Panorama Software. "Our second quarter numbers

confirm another positive milestone for Panorama. With the additional funding, Panorama will be

able to increase its growth rate and capitalize on the positive market momentum for our software

solutions.”

Panorama will use the investment to expand its global footprint, accelerate new product

developments and additional application initiatives in the analytics, performance measurement,

and enterprise reporting space. As a result of the financing, Brad Woloson, a general partner at

JMI Equity, will join Panorama’s board of directors.
